Manchester United & Liverpool set to compete to sign Real Sociedad’s Robin le Normand – reports

Premier League powerhouses Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in Real Sociedad defender Robin Le Normand, various sorces have revealed.

In 2024, both teams are considering adding defensive additional troops, and they are searching in Europe for the greatest deals.

Le Normand has caught the attention of talent scouts from both Man Utd and Liverpool on their previous recruiting tours to Europe, and they have developed a liking for what they observed.

In addition to being a La Liga star for his current team, the French-born player was called up to the Spanish national team for the first time earlier this season. He’s already earned six caps.

Le Normand started his career with Brest in his native nation before relocating to the Basque nation in 2016. He began his career with Real Sociedad’s B team, yet since the start of the 2018–19 campaign, he became a senior player.

He is playing in the Champions League for the initial time in his career this season, and he has participated in each of La Real’s first three group stage games.

Le Normand, who turns 27 in November, is getting close to reaching his peak. Earlier this year, Fabrizio Romano revealed that the amount of his release clause is €50 million (£43.6 million).

According to a term extension he reached in July of last year, he is still bound to San Sebastian until 2026. If all goes according to plan, he will surpass the historic mark of 200 La Real games in the coming months, having currently made 190.

However, if he keeps up his good work, he could be able to go on and get a taste of the Premier League.
