PSG set to offer Kylian Mbappe fresh deal with low release clause – reports

According to latest reports, PSG are set to make Kylian Mbappe a last contract extension offer; it may include a modest release option. Real Madrid will continue to wait to see how the negotiations play out.

Prior to the summer 2019 transfer window, the superstar Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain is still a hot topic.

Mbappe made it clearly apparent earlier than usual that he sees no plans to extend his contract at the Parc des Princes Stadium. The French international is still expected to sign with Real Madrid, but fresh rumours indicate the 24-year-old may be open to moving to the Premier League.

According to tycsports, Real Madrid, who are viewed as the favourites to get Mbappe, have expressed an interest in acquiring Julian Alvarez of Manchester City.

Alvarez is allegedly being considered by the Spanish behemoths as a possible replacement for the PSG superstar should he not wind up playing at the Bernabeu Stadium next summer.

According to 90min, Kylian Mbappe is prepared to forego a sizable loyalty incentive in his Paris Saint-Germain contract but has once again made it clear to the team that he won’t sign a new one.

PSG have persisted in pushing Mbappe to sign a new contract, which may or may not contain a release clause that would permit his eventual exit for a predetermined sum. This is not considered to be in the works at this time.

Mbappe was willing to forego a €80 million (£68 million) incentive that he is due for the remainder of this season, saving PSG €100 million (£85 million).

While confirming that discussions on Kylian Mbappe’s future have taken place with his family, PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi was circumspect when questioned about a potential new deal.

After voting on their option for the upcoming season, the PSG team has voted against making Kylian Mbappe their new club captain. According to AS, despite Mbappe’s candidature for the starting quarterback position, Marquinhos has been chosen to keep it.
