Serge Gnabry sidelined for remaining season due to hamstring injury; major doubt ahead of Euro 2024

Following being told of a left hamstring strain, Bayern announced in a statement that Serge Gnabry will “miss the remainder of the season.” Due to a hamstring injury, Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry has been declared unavailable for the entire season and may miss Germany’s home campaign at Euro 2024, the team said on Friday.

After 27 minutes in Wednesday’s 2-1 Champions League semifinal defeat to Real Madrid, Gnabry exited the pitch. After being told of a left hamstring strain, Bayern announced in a statement that the 28-year-old would “miss the remainder of the season.”

While Germany plays Scotland in Munich on June 14 to kick off the Euros, Bayern still has two games in the Bundesliga.

Due to a terrible season of injuries, former Arsenal striker Gnabry was left out of Julian Nagelsmann’s final Germany team.

Gnabry was substituted due to injury in April’s 2-2 Champions League quarterfinal matchup between Bayern and his former team, and he didn’t play again until the matchup with Real Madrid in the semifinals.

Gnabry suffered a broken arm in September and has been sidelined by muscular problems for 15 games since December. With 45 games played, the winger has 22 goals for Germany.
