PSG’s Luis Campos advances talks with Harry Kane’s entourage

Foot Mercato are reporting that Luís Campos has met with Harry Kane’s (29) entourage in the past few days to discuss the England captain’s arrival at the Parc des Princes.

As first revealed, by Le Parisien, PSG have made signing the Tottenham Hotspur forward a priority this summer. Having missed out on signing Robert Lewandowski last season, the club are determined to bring in a player that can complement Kylian Mbappé’s abilities.

In parallel, Les Parisiens are working on a deal for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, but given the Nigerian international’s €150m price tag, it would be a financially-onerous transfer, especially given that the club are working hard to bring Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva to the Parc des Princes this summer.

With just one-year remaining on Kane’s contract at Tottenham, the Englishman would be considerably cheaper, although according to Le Parisien, the Premier League side are still demanding around €100m.

Concrete steps are now being taken by PSG’s hierarchy to bring Kane to the club. According to Foot Mercato, Campos has met with the player’s entourage in recent days to “test the waters” and understand Kane’s desires. It is up to Campos and the PSG hierarchy to convince the player of the Parisian project, and also stump up the considerable fee demanded by Tottenham for a deal to be done.
